DAN PURCELL performed this solo in “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” with Ithacappella during his freshman year at Ithaca College. The recording of his performance appeared on Ithacappella’s “The Party Upstairs” album, which is available on itunes. The entire album received a national CARA (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards) nomination for Best Male Collegiate Album. This video of the live performance now has 37,000+ YouTube views.
PETER CAFASSO was the Winner of the First Hoboken Sinatra Idol Contest. Peter has performed his Sinatra Tribute music at the Count Basie Theater and in restaurants, parties, and venues in North Jersey for many years. This performance of “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” is at Frank Sinatra Park in Hoboken NJ, with “Swingadelic – NYC Metro’s Greatest Little Big Band."
MARINA WARDELL, a 14 year old singer/ songwriter, performed an hour-long set of her original music at the Manhattan Theatre Source / WindowBox Preshow in NYC for their Estrogenius Festival. This song is titled “Angel Child.”
ANA SCHURMANN, international model (New York • Milan • Berlin • Brazil • Tokyo), recently began writing songs to create her own music videos. Her skill in front of the camera combined with talents in storytelling, producing, and singing led to three music videos totaling 250,000+ YouTube views. Her most recent is hip-hop inspired “Flip,” shot in Tokyo, where she plays all three roles. It has 53,000+ YouTube views.
JAQUITA MAY performed as “Tina Turner” singing “Proud Mary” on the national tour with “Glen Burtnik Summer of Love Concert.” On that tour, she also sang as part of the “Fifth Dimension” tribute performance of “Stoned Soul Picnic.”
JAQUITA MAY is currently on tour as a back-up singer with Little Steven and Disciples of Soul – through the US and Europe. They appeared on NBC’s Megyn Kelly TODAY show, in their “Citi Concert Series on TODAY.” They performed the title song from their new album “SoulFire” and this number - “Love on the Wrong Side of Town.” JaQuita sings on the live version of the album, which is available on itunes. She’s the back up singer closest to center stage – with the fabulous hair!
NICK FARGO and his rock band MoTHER released their first single in 3 years with “Medicine.” The audio production was by Grammy-winning producer David Ivory (Erykah Badu, Patti LaBelle) – and released on Ivory’s label Flexitone. The video was produced by Emmy-Award-winning Fabio Jaffet (Enrique Iglesias).
FIRE DEPT. COFFEE - Nick Fargo’s single “Medicine” was picked up by Fire Dept. Coffee in Rockford IL to use in the Internet video ad for their spirit-infused coffee blends. “Experience the same great-tasting coffee you love with a little something extra. Visit Fire Dept. Coffee and try it for yourself!” The ad has topped 10,000+ YouTube views.
